LAUNCH STAGE
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM A PARTNER BEFORE THE LAUNCH OF TMS BG
1. BUDGETING info and masterclass - we need a meeting regarding the cost estimate to run thru each item. We should discuss how everything is calculated and done. Of course, we have information from crew, but your input and comments about how things work in reality, what how can be squeezed, what are restrictions here & there, nuances etc will be needed. We’ll probably want to make couple of test estimates for you to check after we make this masterclass meeting, to check whether we got everything well.
2. CREW – we’ll need to run thru crew names, to mark who’s top, who’s 2nd rank, who’s NO and any comments/hints about working with this or that person basing on your experience.
3. NEW BIZ MATERIALS - we will need help with the finalization of presentations for sales (we have one for the company, but we need help with information about BG to add those extra slides)
4. DATABASE - we will need location base, casting base, backlots photos, studios photos/info/sizes, key HODs showreels – we need a fast & easy access to this kind of info in order to be able to deliver fast to Client when it’s needed.
BIDDING STAGE
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM A PARTNER AT THE PITCH STAGE
- we will budget pitches by ourselves, but at first time we will have many questions / consultations and we’ll need prompt responses and advice from you regarding departments (art, style, etc.), prices, logistics, country facilities & possibilities etc. Of course, we will contact crew directly, but sometimes we’ll need help to push the departments to speed up the processes. We will need help looking for something that is not in our base or some crew, maybe make a warning call and introduce us as partners. Also we will need help to book someone for the project from the crew at the pitch stage.
- we need a location base and a casting base with references, and if the information is not enough for the pitch, we will contact the cast directors / location managers, but we will need help with calls to push the process, speed up and get best materials for pitch to get it won.
PRODUCTION STAGE
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM A PARTNER AT THE PROJECT STAGE
- we may need help in forming a team for the project: how and with whom it is better to negotiate, what points to pay attention to
- for which positions we can make deals for fees and any financial conditions with crews / rentals / studios - they don’t know us yet, but they respect you and have deals with you and you know how is possible to reduce costs so that we all earn more in the end
- help with the crisis in the process (something needs to be urgently resolved / connections in the authorities, solving complex problems that are not typical, etc.)
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT US
(you have to understand what kind of people we are))) and what can you expect besides get drunk together))
- we are super efficient and in touch really almost 24/7 and it is very difficult for us to work with those who don’t respond quickly, it destroys our system. We are used to processing everything instantly and we value relationships with those who are at our tempo-rhythm and are also always in touch regardless of the day of the week or time in the day ( but, of course, we also sometimes sleep.))
- we are terrible perfectionists and despite the fact that in some situations this may be considered a disadvantage, we turn it into a virtue)) thanks to this, our clients fall in love with us even at the tender stage.
- we really like clarity and structure - this applies to both - people and processes. We have no bureaucracy, but all processes are built according to a well-established scheme, there are multi-page guides for each position, which are strictly performed by all members of the TMS team.
- we are extremely meticulous and client oriented.
- we try to foresee everything as much as possible and talk with crew during pitches, so we will write and ask a lot at pitches stage.
- unfortunately, we live in a world where clients most often send a tender on Friday evening and expect a response as early as Sunday or Monday. We try not to refuse them if we have a resource, so we сan call and write in the evening, on weekends and holidays, etc.
- sometimes we ask too many questions, because it is important for us to understand everything ourselves.
- during projects, we take care of clients with great attention.
- we strictly fulfill all obligations to crew and all suppliers.
It is difficult for many suppliers to work with us, but we don't cooperate with them) we choose those who are with us in one boat and shares our philosophy, and then there are no problems)
